Job summary

Sixth Street Asset Based Finance seeks a Transaction Manager to structure and manage asset-backed financings, securitizations and platform investments. You will coordinate diligence, review legal docs and streamline transaction cycles across teams, ensuring compliance and timely closings.

The role requires strong analytical, writing and collaboration skills, plus a JD and bar admission with 4+ years in related finance or legal environments. NY location and competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in financings, securitization and capital markets transactions preferably with a major law firm or corporate law department.
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory policy issues affecting securities and ABS, MBS, and CMBS markets.
• Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing in a state Bar with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct transaction processes including reviewing due diligence and legal documentation
• Manage licensing and filing requirements for transactions and deal participants
• Review asset eligibility and standardizing transaction template forms
• Serve as a trusted team member, aiding in closing credit financings, securitization transactions and other business arrangements
• Coordinate with critical third-party relationships including diligence providers, underwriters, custodians, rating agencies, trustees and external counsel
• Provide insights and support on program improvements and innovations and orchestrate efficiencies in transaction cycle workflows
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the ABF business and broader Sixth Street platform (continuous interaction with legal, ESG committees, tax, KYC, capital formation, and compliance)
