Sixth Street is seeking a senior corporate attorney based in New York to manage the day-to-day legal aspects of new investments. You will join the Legal team, work closely with Investing and Core teams, and oversee complex transactions including M&A, debt, and structured finance, as well as fund-related matters and post-closing governance.

Ideal candidates hold a US law degree, are admitted to the bar, and bring seven years of corporate legal experience with a strong background in complex

• US law degree (bar admission preferred)
• Minimum seven years of corporate legal experience (firm and/or in-house)
• Broad familiarity with complex financial transactions, private/public M&A, capital markets, structured finance, tax, and securities law

Responsabilidades

• Issue spotting, negotiating and managing legal aspects of new investments and related structures.
• Structure and implement deal terms with deal teams and portfolio management.
• Prepare and review financing agreements, fund-related matters, and cross-border transactions.
• Oversee outside counsel relationships and ensure compliance with agreements and disclosures.
• Collaborate with Tax and Core teams on deal execution and post-closing matters.
