Job summary

Excelsior University seeks a Senior Associate of Assessment and Learning Improvement to lead learning outcomes assessment, program/curriculum review, and accreditation activities. The role collaborates with faculty, program directors, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to ensure academic quality assurance and continuous improvement of student learning.

Hybrid work is offered with Albany in-office days and remote options.

Qualifications

• Experience with institutional, national, and specialized accreditation standards, practices, and goals.
• Expertise in assessment, data analysis and educational outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse members of the college community.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the learning outcomes assessment process for colleges and student affairs programs/units.
• Consult through each step of an assessment cycle: designing learning outcomes, curriculum alignment, and data collection.
• Monitor results from annual assessments and program reviews, advising leadership on interpretation and improvement plans.
• Ensure use of quality data to inform program development and improvement.
• Serve as a resource on assessment methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Prepare reports and visualizations to support university initiatives and assessment processes.
• Review accreditation-related reporting for accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Collaborate with analytics and decision support teams to establish data-driven reporting for learning outcomes and accreditation.
• Maintain records of accreditation documentation and activities.
