Job summary

University of Minnesota's College of Continuing and Professional Studies seeks an Associate Director of Curriculum and Assessment to lead curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation initiatives across undergraduate and graduate programs.

Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, this 100% time, hybrid role bridges strategic vision with execution, ensuring alignment with academic rigor and accreditation expectations while coordinating governance, writing plans, and

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus at least 6 years in higher education leadership or related field, OR a master's plus 4 years in curriculum and assessment
• 3-5 years of progressive leadership in higher education
• experience in curriculum design and accreditation/assessment cycles

Responsibilities

• Support governance of undergraduate and graduate programs, including curriculum mapping and governance materials
• Coordinate curriculum development milestones and align program leadership, governance, and instructional design partners
• Review and advise on program learning outcomes for alignment with university standards
• Coordinate course review processes and provide templates, timelines, and guidance to lead instructors and program directors
• Develop templates for Curriculum Committee and support writing intensive designations
• Manage annual writing plans and participation in the Writing Enriched Curriculum program
• Serve as college-level assessment coordinator for accreditation and licensure activities
• Develop and manage learning assessment processes for accreditation and annual reporting
• Monitor reporting cycles and document alignment with external standards
• Coordinate licensure documentation and internal tracking for specialized programs
• Manage PCDA processes and affiliation agreements
• Oversee internship and affiliation agreement workflows
