Job summary

The University of Texas Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas, seeks a Senior Institutional Effectiveness Analyst to advance institutional effectiveness, assessment, program-review, accreditation support, and continuous improvement. The role analyzes data, prepares decision-support reports, and advises units within university frameworks.

You will work with Institutional Research, Academic Affairs, faculty, and data owners to strengthen evidence use in planning and improvement, while ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in higher education, education, institutional research, assessment & evaluation, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in institutional effectiveness, outcomes assessment, or related higher-education function.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative research, assessment, survey, or program-evaluation methods and preparing analytical reports.
• Experience using Excel and at least one statistical, BI, survey, or data-visualization tool.

Responsibilities

• Analyze institutional data and assessment evidence to support decision making and improvement.
• Design and implement assessment plans, measures, surveys, and related tools for academic and administrative units.
• Review plans and reports for completeness, summarize findings, and identify gaps or risks.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards that highlight strengths, gaps, and trends.
