Job summary

Badger Meter, Inc. is seeking an Assembler II in Racine, WI to assemble parts per specifications and drawings. The role may rotate across departments and requires use of basic tools to complete assemblies, with attention to quality and safety.

You will work in a manufacturing environment with daily use of production systems and ERP software. Candidates with 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience and basic technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing.
• Basic proficiency with computers including an ERP system.
• Ability to understand gluing and centering to tolerances.
• Capability to use function generators and multimeter test equipment.
• Proficient with basic printing programs and production software.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to Work Instructions and Drawings.
• Rotate through facility for various assembly tasks.
• Operate hand, battery, electric and pneumatic tools.
• Record daily activity in the production system and view work instructions.
• Maintain safety, quality, delivery and cost improvement efforts.
