Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an ASIC Design Manager in Cupertino to lead a skilled team through SOC design, power management, and IP integration.

This role emphasizes coordinating engineers, guiding microarchitectures, and ensuring high-quality design delivery for complex silicon systems. The position requires a BS in engineering with at least 10 years of industry experience, plus strong leadership and collaboration skills across internal groups.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field; minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience managing a team and acting as technical lead.
• Experience writing specifications and translating them into design.
• Knowledge of multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces desirable.
• Hands-on experience across chip development with frontend tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and coordinate with partners and customers.
• Architect power management solutions for the SOC and SOC-level IPs.
• Review and write microarchitecture/design specs for power management and IPs.
• Plan integration of complex IPs into the SOC and ensure high-quality design delivery.
• Oversee front end integration activities like Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO.
• Collaborate with software and systems teams to ensure high-quality products.
