Job summary

Ferring Holding SA in Parsippany, New Jersey seeks an Operator Lead, Production to oversee aseptic manufacturing, mentor teams, and ensure sterility, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment. You will lead complex processing tasks and manage equipment in a Grade A/B cleanroom setting.

Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Production Management to drive continuous improvement while maintaining cGMP adherence and high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational education preferred.
• 4+ years in pharma/biopharma/biotech with aseptic clean room experience.
• Proficient in aseptic techniques, cleanroom protocols, cGMP regulations.
• Mastery in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced aseptic processing equipment.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex aseptic processing tasks per SOPs and batch records.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain aseptic processing equipment (isolation, filling, lyophilization, autoclaves).
• Mentor and guide junior, intermediate, and senior operators.
• Institute aseptic technique, process optimization, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Production Management.
• Address deviations; drive process improvements and successful aseptic execution.
• Oversee process simulations, media fills, and equipment qualifications.
• Review and approve batch records, process data, and cGMP documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
