Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Senior Business Development Engineer to translate Army requirements into technically sound, winnable solutions and coordinate with Engineering and BD teams to deliver tailored capabilities. The role emphasizes interoperability and field-readiness of our tactical portfolio.

The position supports RFI/RFP responses, engages Army program managers and DoD stakeholders, and may travel up to 50% for demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in C5ISR related field; or HS diploma with 9+ years experience.
• Minimum 5 years with SDRs, IP-based tactical routing, and tactical systems.
• Proficient with RF instruments (signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Willingness to travel 50% to DoD environments and projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army Capability Set requirements and map to our tactical radios.
• Lead demonstrations and field trials with BD and Applications Engineering.
• Prepare and respond to RFI/RFPs, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
• Engage Army stakeholders and translate feedback into roadmaps.
