Job summary

Motorola Solutions\' Silvus Technologies division seeks a Senior Business Development Engineer to translate Army requirements into field-ready solutions. You will work with Engineering and BD teams to shape demonstrations and proposals for US Army acquisition stakeholders, with travel up to 50% and potential for 100% remote work depending on location.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, CS, or related C5ISR field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with SDRs, IP-based tactical routing, and tactical comms systems.
Proficiency with RF instruments (signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
Willingness to travel frequently (50%) to DoD environments.

Responsibilities

Analyze Army Capability Set requirements and Mission Command network goals to map gaps to our capabilities.
Conduct market research to identify end-to-end product solutions and synergies with partners.
Design and build demonstrations tailored to the Army for field-readiness.
Lead technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials with BD and Applications Engineering teams.
Engage Army program managers and warfare centers to translate tech into program requirements.
