Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command with LOGCAP contract requirements, performance monitoring, and procurement planning. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and experience in Army logistics and acquisition activities.

The position may be located CONUS/OCONUS and requires onsite work five days a week, with up to 10% travel to remote locations. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance and US citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc).
• Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and requiring activity.
• Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all requirements, current and emerging.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and information to customers and Government staff on requirements packet generation, reviews, validation, performance metrics, and project schedules.
• Perform technical reviews and analysis of contractor estimates/proposals for Project Planning Requests and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through attendance at daily operations and staff meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings supporting logistics for requiring activity.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials and program staff in the AOR/PMO.
• Analyze contractor monthly workload to project prior quarter and future quarters.
• Review analysis projections and adjust for troop surge or seasonal requirements.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on contractor performance and schedules.
• Provide recommendations to changing operations requirements and emerging missions.
• Research and analyze emerging missions, policies, procedures, and directives.
