Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Senior Business Development Engineer for US Army engagements. You will work with Engineering and Business Development teams to translate Army requirements into technically sound, field-ready demonstrations and solutions.

The role involves frequent travel (up to 50%) to customer sites and DoD environments, and 100% remote work is possible depending on location. A strong background in SDRs, tactical networks, and RF systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or HS diploma with 9+ years experience.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with SDRs, IP-based tactical routing protocols, and tactical communication systems.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army Capability Set requirements and Mission Command network design goals to map gaps to our capabilities.
• Conduct market research to identify end-to-end product solutions and synergies with partners.
• Design and build demonstrations tailored to the Army for field readiness.
• Lead technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials and evaluations.
