Job summary

Collegium Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks an Area Sales Director to shape and drive the company’s commercial growth. You will lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, align sales strategies with corporate goals, and collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, Medical, and Commercial Operations to maximize results.

You will be a key market voice, providing insights to executive leadership, and championing a patient-centered culture while ensuring policy adherence and ethical conduct across the sales org.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, incl. 5+ years as first-line sales leader and 2+ years in second-line roles.
• Proven success in regional or national sales strategy development with cross-functional influence.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute the national sales strategy.
• Drive and manage sales goals at regional level and oversee incentive compensation programs.
• Own KPIs beyond sales, such as market share growth, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Regional Sales Managers and ensure succession planning.
