Collegium Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Director to shape and drive commercial growth.

You will lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, align sales strategies with corporate goals, and collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, Medical, and Commercial Operations to optimize market opportunities. You will present market insights to senior leadership and model Collegium’s patient-centered culture while driving accountable performance and leadership development across the sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with 5+ years in first-line leadership.
• Proven ability to develop regional or national sales strategies beyond direct reports.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation.
• Experience leading organizational change in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to lead with emotional intelligence and adapt leadership style.
• Proven relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent multi-channel communication to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to adopt AI to improve sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed sales goals and execute the national sales strategy.
• Drive regional sales goals and manage incentive programs.
• Own KPIs beyond sales, e.g., market share and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop Regional Sales Managers; succession planning.
• Collaborate with VP Sales and cross-functional partners.
• Present market trends and strategic recommendations to executives.
• Foster compliance with company policies across the sales org.
