Job summary

HOK Group, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Project Manager who partners with the Project Architect and Project Designer to oversee project financial performance and team communication.

You will lead multiple project teams through all phases, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and aligned with the design intent. This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, budgeting, contract coordination, and a commitment to sustainable design practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
• 12+ years' experience in architectural practice with management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region preferred, if licensure is offered in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Leadership Team.
• Participates on and/or leads multiple project teams as Project Manager.
• Assists senior management in developing and validating project scope and fee, budget, and scope of services during marketing and contract development.
• Assists in preparing project presentations and client presentations.
• Manages project using the Deltek Project Management system; completes work plans in Deltek; manages budget, consultants, and schedule.
