Job summary

HOK Group, Inc. seeks a Project Manager in the United States to lead architectural projects from initiation through completion, ensuring budget, schedule and design intent are met.

You will oversee project teams, coordinate with Project Architect and Project Designer, and manage clients and consultants. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and financial accountability, with responsibilities spanning fee development, contract administration, and sustainable design integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in architectural practice with management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region preferred, if licensure is offered in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for project financial performance and team communication from start to completion.
• Directs employees and consultants to ensure work is completed as planned, budgeted, and scheduled.
• Leads project teams and manages client communications using Deltek.
• Assist senior management in scope, fee, and budget development during marketing and contracts.
• Support proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Promote sustainable design and green workplace practices.
• Maintain relationships with clients and consultants throughout the project.
• Oversee change notices, fees, and contracts with vendors.
