OneFourTwo Design Group (142) is seeking a senior architectural leader to shape the Philadelphia market, deepen client relationships, and grow a regional practice within a design-build environment. You will lead business development, guide project teams from concept to delivery, and mentor colleagues while maintaining high design standards and strategic vision for the firm’s growth in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with 10–15+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven success in developing client relationships and winning work.
• Strong presence in meetings, presentations, and client interactions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience building or mentoring teams.
• Strong design sensibility with practical delivery understanding.
• Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset.
• Established industry credibility and professional network preferred.
• Licensed Architect preferred.
• Collaborative, relationship-driven, no-ego leadership style.
• Alignment with 142’s design-driven approach and design-build execution environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, builders, and end users.
• Serve as a client-facing leader in proposals, presentations, interviews, and strategic discussions.
• Leverage industry relationships and reputation to generate new opportunities.
• Help define and communicate 142’s value proposition within a design-build environment.
• Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and client engagements.
• Serve as Principal-in-Charge and/or Project Executive on key projects.
• Guide projects from concept through execution, balancing design quality, schedule, and cost.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience through clear communication and proactive leadership.
• Collaborate seamlessly with design-build partners, consultants, and internal teams.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing architectural team.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, client-focused culture.
• Support recruiting, professional development, and long-term team growth.
• Help establish scalable processes and best practices as the office grows.
• Provide design direction and maintain high design standards.
• Contribute strategic insight to market positioning and practice growth.
