CannonDesign is seeking a skilled architect to join our Chicago or Pittsburgh offices. You will lead conceptual design within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and support project leadership under an licensed architect.

The role emphasizes visualization, client engagement, and holistic design across exterior to interior. Ideal candidates bring a strong design portfolio, US registration, LEED interest, and proficiency with Revit, Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or related field required.
• Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrated in portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Contribute conceptual design and provide full architectural design support.
• Incorporate business and communication objectives in design solutions.
• Present selective design ideas to clients during meetings.
• Prepare client presentation materials and 2D/3D visualizations.
• Design projects meeting budget and owner parameters.
• Mentor junior team members and support collaboration.
