Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking an architect with 6+ years of professional experience to join a multi-disciplinary team in Chicago, IL. You will contribute to conceptual design and provide full architectural support under licensed supervision.

We value strong portfolios, experience with Revit and visualization tools, and collaboration across interior and exterior teams. The role includes site visits and potential travel, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or related field required.
• Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong portfolio of design work essential.
• Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with 3D modeling Rhino and real-time rendering tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently and with others contribute conceptual and full architectural design across project phases.
• Incorporate business and communication objectives into strategic design solutions.
• Present design ideas to clients in meetings and prepare compelling client materials.
• Create 2D/3D design visualizations to convey the design effectively.
• Design projects to meet budget and owner parameters; collaborate with interior designers.
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration, experimentation, innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Travel for site visits; perform overtime as needed.
