Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a design-focused architect to join a multi-disciplinary team across St. Louis, Dallas, or Houston.

You will contribute conceptual design and provide full architectural support under licensed supervision, influencing projects from exterior to interior while aligning with client goals. Prerequisites include a accredited architecture degree, 6+ years of experience, and strong visualization skills using Revit, Rhino and V-Ray.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Architecture from an accredited program.
• At least 6 years of related professional experience.
• Architectural registration in the United States preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design and visualization skills.
• Proficient with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Contribute conceptual design and provide full architectural design support throughout projects.
• Incorporate business and communication objectives in design solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and present design ideas to clients.
• Prepare client presentation materials including 2D/3D visualizations.
• Design projects meeting budget and owner parameters.
• Collaborate with interior designers and subject matter experts on holistic solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative, innovative culture.
• Perform overtime and travel as needed; site visits when appropriate.
