Job summary

CannonDesign seeks an experienced Architect to lead design elements, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure project quality. You will develop site plans, communicate design intent, and participate in BD activities, with field observations and a focus on sustainable strategies.

The role requires registration in the U.S., 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of related professional experience.
• Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
• CDT and LEED accreditation preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead elements of design, production, coordination, and detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Coordinate with engineers and consultants; carry through design intent; coordinate with team members on project assignments and documents.
• Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans.
• Communicate project status, design intent, construction updates to owners, consultants, and clients.
• Participate in Business Development and assist Marketing and Office Leadership.
• Perform field site observations and site walks.
• Integrate performance-based and sustainable design strategies into solutions.
• Apply CannonDesign Method to achieve quality and productivity; mentor interns if needed.
• Contribute to QA/QC and ensure statutory requirements are met.
