Job summary

RS&H in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Experienced Architectural Associate to join our Corporate Practice. You will support planning, design development, and the preparation of construction documents for corporate workplace and related projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and at least three years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of building codes and proficient BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD). A Master’s degree and NCARB exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of state and local building codes, zoning, fire regulations, and related ordinances.
• Proficiency with architectural production software and construction document production.
• Professional experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams through planning, design development, and construction document phases.
• Develop impact studies, cost analyses, design requirements, and site studies.
• Lead and support data collection, research, and project investigations.
• Prepare project documents, drawings, visual aids, and other design materials.
• Coordinate development of construction documents with internal teams and clients.
• Edit specifications and discipline reports; contribute to project documentation.
• Research building codes, zoning, fire regulations, and other approvals.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure delivery.
• Contribute to multiple projects while maintaining schedules and quality.
• Continue developing technical and project management skills through hands-on experience.
