Job summary

RS&H is seeking an Experienced Architectural Associate to join the Buildings team in Charlotte, NC. You’ll contribute from planning through construction documents, expanding technical expertise while delivering high-quality design across diverse projects.

You’ll work with architects, engineers, and clients in a collaborative, employee-owned environment, using Revit/AutoCAD to create compelling drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program; 3+ years experience preferred.
• NAAB-accredited degree and ARE eligibility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning, accessibility, and related codes.
• Proficiency with architectural production software and construction document development.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, programming, and design for small to moderate projects.
• Prepare drawings, renderings, presentations, visualizations, and construction documents.
• Assist with site evaluations, feasibility studies, and cost analyses.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Apply codes and regulations to project designs.
• Participate in project meetings and ensure accuracy and quality.
