Job summary

Freese and Nichols in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced Architect with a focus on water and infrastructure projects. You will lead projects from concept through construction, manage teams, coordinate with engineers and clients, and ensure design quality and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas architectural license, has 5+ years on architectural design and project management, and is proficient in REVIT.

Qualifications

• Valid architectural license in the state of Texas.
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Extensive knowledge of building assessments, programming, and project execution.
• Experience managing projects from concept to construction, ensuring quality, budget, and timelines.
• Strong project management, prioritization, resource allocation and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Proficiency in REVIT to produce architectural designs and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects from conception to completion, meeting quality, deadlines, and budgets.
• Conduct building assessments to identify requirements and opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align programs with objectives.
• Oversee project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resources.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and consultants to meet deliverables.
• Communicate design concepts and project progress clearly to team and clients.
