Job summary

Freese and Nichols, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for Dallas or Fort Worth, TX.

You will serve as a senior technical authority on complex electrical design for water and wastewater projects, guiding technical direction and ensuring high-quality results. Responsibilities include leading electrical design, commissioning, and startup, mentoring junior staff, advising on risk and staffing, and representing the firm in industry forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Responsibilities

• Provide firm-level technical leadership for electrical design of water and wastewater systems, including commissioning and risk decisions.
• Define technical direction for the Industrial Power Team and ensure accountability.
• Guide electrical design, integration, commissioning, sequencing, startup for pump stations and projects.
• Coach and mentor junior electrical staff.
