GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to oversee the architecture team providing background investigation systems support for a government customer in the Washington DC metropolitan area. The role is hybrid, predominantly remote with occasional on-site requirements, and requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 15+ years of large-scale application design and development experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of technical architects and developers.
• Assess existing background investigation systems and processes.
• Capture user requirements and program needs through close collaboration with customers.
• Design scalable, compliant solution architectures across multiple systems.
• Ensure alignment with federal regulations and standards.
• Guide development teams to implement proposed solutions.
• Regularly review solution effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Provide expertise in federal contracts and grants management.
• Utilize Atlassian tools (JIRA) for requirements tracking.
• Develop software using Natural with ADABAS and maintain related processes.
• Maintain data transfer workflows with IBM Connect Direct and JCL for batch jobs.
• Manage queues/flows with IBM MQ and support hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
