Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to guide solution architecture and development teams for a government client in the Washington DC area, with a hybrid schedule combining remote and intermittent onsite work.

The role requires extensive experience in Natural with ADABAS, large-scale design, and federal regulatory compliance. You will lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders across IT, security, and infrastructure domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 15+ years in large-scale application design and development.
• Expert proficiency in Natural with ADABAS.
• Experience with NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years working with customers to define requirements.
• Strong ability to design solutions across multiple subsystems.
• Experience interacting with both application development and infrastructure teams.
• Clearance: active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects and developers.
• Assess existing background investigation systems and processes.
• Gather user requirements and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Design scalable solution architectures compliant with federal regulations.
• Ensure successful implementation with development teams.
• Oversee O&M and enhancements for applications.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, security teams.
• Utilize ServiceNow for workflow management.
