A Senior Architect at Akamai Technologies, Inc. will join the Network Operations Systems Group to design and maintain high-reliability software for Akamai's Connected Cloud of 300k+ servers worldwide.

Qualifications

Have 12 years experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
Have solid experience in distributed system architecture design and implementation, with a track record of delivering scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
Present and support architectural and security designs and technical visions to internal cross-functional teams
Have experience in software development life cycle including in the Unix/Linux environment

Responsibilities

Working closely with product management and engineering teams to describe and design solutions aligned with Akamai's strategy and roadmap.
Presenting and supporting architectural designs and technical visions to internal cross-functional teams
