Job summary

You will collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions that align with Akamai's strategy and roadmap. You will lead architectural discussions, set standards for design and testing, and focus on automation, reliability, and performance in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in distributed system architecture design.
• Experience in Unix/Linux development environment.
• Ability to present architectural designs to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Describe and design solutions aligned with Akamai's strategy and roadmap.
• Present and support architectural designs and technical visions to internal cross-functional teams.
• Define and implement standards for systems design, development, testing and QA practices.
• Design reliable, scalable, highly available software that meets business needs.
