Job summary

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions focused on automation and reliability. You will influence architecture, define standards, and present visions to stakeholders while guiding SDLC in a Unix/Linux environment.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in software architecture or equivalent
• Experience in distributed system design and implementation
• Experience presenting designs to cross-functional teams
• Experience in Unix/Linux development lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Describe and design solutions aligned with Akamai's strategy and roadmap
• Present architectural designs and technical visions to internal cross-functional teams
• Define and implement standards for systems design, development, testing, and QA
• Design reliable, scalable, highly available systems
• Conduct research on emerging trends in network operations and automation
