Job summary

Ghafari Associates is seeking an Architect to assist in design development and lead the production of technical drawings and specifications. The role coordinates with other disciplines and carries in-house construction administration duties on moderate-size projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of architecture experience, strong Revit proficiency, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining quality control and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• NCARB AXP completion preferred; licensing exams in progress preferred.
• LEED or WELL Certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of related architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run small to moderate scale projects with some complexity.
• Establish design parameters, options, performance and cost criteria.
• Lead project work plans and execute tasks per scope of work.
• Oversee daily activities of the project team and quality of Construction Documents.
• Provide mentorship and learning opportunities for junior staff.
• Produce schematic design, design development and construction documents.
• Manage coordination between disciplines and ensure timely information exchange.
• Assist Project Manager with schedule, budget, and staffing changes.
• Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, issue bulletins, and provide field support.
