Job summary

Gensler seeks an experienced Architect to lead a team of designers on premier architectural projects from concept through build. You will drive client coordination, ensure documentation quality, and provide technical guidance across disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a architecture degree with 10+ years in a commercial design firm, NY project experience preferred, and licensure. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe CS is expected; LEED accreditation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in a commercial design firm.
• NY project experience preferred.
• Licensed Architect.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
• Core & Shell + Interiors experience.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards, construction, and structures.
• LEED accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects and designers to deliver projects from concept through build.
• Manage client, team and project coordination with all consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to design challenges.
• Maintain project manual and specifications.
• Conduct site visits, process submittals, substitutions, and RFIs during construction.
