Job summary

Gensler is seeking an experienced licensed architect to lead multidisciplinary teams on high-profile projects in the United States. You will drive concepts through construction, ensuring design integrity, technical quality, and regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships.

You bring a decade or more of practice in architecture, a Bachelor’s degree, and expert Revit/3D visualization skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with active license.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of related experience in architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Revit, 3D modeling, visualization and graphic software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and structures.
• Experience managing full project lifecycles from concept to occupancy.
• Proven leadership, mentorship, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Resolve complex technical and design issues to deliver constructible solutions.
• Direct production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks.
• Oversee documents with design intent and high technical quality.
• Mentor team and provide design guidance.
• Maintain project manual and specifications.
• Conduct on-site observations and site reviews.
• Interface with officials during permitting and construction.
• Contribute to financial performance of the project.
• Review proposals and contracts with the Project Manager.
• Ensure projects conform to the contract.
• Lead teams for successful delivery.
• Manage client expectations and consultant coordination.
• Contribute to office activities and learning programs.
• Establish ongoing client relationships.
