Job summary

Gensler is seeking a Project Architect in Los Angeles to blend creativity with technical coordination, guiding clients through design concepts and development. You will translate program needs into technical studies and construction documents while fostering strong relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate has a professional architecture degree, US licensure (CA preferred), 10+ years across building typologies, and fluency with BIM tools such as Revit.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect (US) required; California licensure preferred.
• 10+ years of architectural experience across multiple building typologies.
• Revit mastery and BIM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks from programming client needs to construction documentation.
• Engage directly with clients with coordinating approvals.
• Manage client, team and project coordination with engineers and consultants.
• Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and officials.
• Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts.
• Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.
