Job summary

Burns & McDonnell seeks a Senior Architect to lead project teams across corporate, healthcare, aviation, and government facilities. You will guide design from concept through construction, balancing budgets, schedules, and client needs while ensuring code, envelope, and detailing excellence.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with field teams, mentoring junior staff, and pursuing new business opportunities. California licensure preferred or able to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
• Master Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
• Minimum eight years of architectural experience preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating design and graphic presentation skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of projects from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Review production drawings for healthcare, airports, educational institutions, and government facilities.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and staffing; manage change orders.
