Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in distributed data platforms, databases, systems engineering, performance architecture, or HW/SW co-design.
• Extensive knowledge of data processing systems, accelerated computing, high-performance I/O, or CPU/GPU architecture.
• Experience evaluating system-level trade-offs across diverse workloads is a strong plus.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Architect - Data Processing Systems, Analytics and Data Intelligence to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will help shape the next generation of high-performance data processing platforms with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and system-wide optimization. You will partner closely with architects, engineering teams, end users, and external partners to translate workload insights into practical architecture decisions. The position also plays a key role in evaluating trade-offs across the full stack, from compute kernels and data movement to I/O and platform-level design.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,000 – $356,500 annually

• Experience evaluating system-level trade-offs across diverse workloads is a strong plus
• Ability to translate complex system analysis into actionable recommendations for various stakeholders
