Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven track record delivering multi-year technical strategies at enterprise scale.
• Expertise in distributed systems architecture and cloud migration or ML.
• Hands-on experience with agentic or LLM-based systems in production.
• Strong written communication for architectural documentation.
• Experience in regulated industries with audit/compliance constraints.

• Lead the migration strategy from on-premises to cloud infrastructure.

For our client, we are seeking a Distinguished Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will shape enterprise technology direction across multiple domains, with a strong emphasis on architecture, AI, and platform modernization. The ideal candidate will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to set technical standards, guide large-scale initiatives, and raise the engineering bar across the organization. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines deep architectural thinking with practical design review and code analysis. The work will influence real‑time decision‑making, analytics, and scalable systems in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $232,500 — $341,000 annually
