Job summary

Gensler in Houston seeks an experienced Architect to lead design development and coordinate construction documentation for complex projects. You will translate sketches into BIM models and research technical issues to drive concept through build in a collaborative team.

You will leverage your Revit and visualization skills to deliver high-quality documents, coordinate with consultants, and ensure design intent remains through the construction phase.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with current license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver informed project solutions.
• Coordinate documentation with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, acoustical, etc.).
• Coordinate with project team, client, vendors, contractors and consultants.
• Resolve complex technical/design issues to produce constructible solutions.
• Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure documents meet design intent and high technical quality.
