Job summary

Gensler Austin seeks an experienced Architect to join the Critical Facilities team and lead design through construction documents. You will translate sketches into 2D/3D models, drive projects from concept to build, and collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver high‑performance facilities in a fast‑paced environment.

The role emphasizes architectural design leadership, building code knowledge, and a commitment to mentorship within a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• 5+ years of related experience, including critical facilities
• Proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and structures

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Critical Facilities team to deliver informed project solutions
• Coordinate documents with structural, MEP, lighting, acoustical, and other consultants
• Direct production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks
• Interface with clients, vendors, contractors, and officials during permitting and construction
• Contribute to proposals, contracts, and maintaining client relationships
