Gensler in Houston seeks an experienced Architect to lead a team of architects and designers through concept to build phases. You will drive client projects with strong mentorship, ensuring design intent and high technical quality.

Excellent communication and leadership are essential for coordinating with clients and consultants. The role emphasizes Revit, 3D modeling, and visualization skills across residential and senior living projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of related experience, with senior living and residential project exposure.
• Proficient in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and related graphics software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and design processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects and designers to deliver architectural projects from concept through build.
• Direct production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks.
• Maintain project manuals and specifications with design intent and technical quality.
• Mentor team members and deliver successful project outcomes.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and permitting officials to ensure project success.
• Contribute to proposals, contracts, and project financial performance.
