Job summary

MetroNational in Houston, TX is seeking an Architectural Designer with 3-5 years of experience to produce concept through design development documents for complex projects. You will work with the design team to develop and execute the vision using Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and rendering tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture required.
• 3-5 years of architecture design experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and rendering software.

• Ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop design drawings with leadership and project managers to prepare layouts and detail drawings for various types of projects.
• Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings and materials.
• Create digital models for project team review.
• Compiles data and performs design computations.
• Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research.
• Work with project team to execute projects on time and within budget cost and quality constraints.
• Become familiar with building and life safety codes and their correct application.
