Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture is required.
• State license to practice architecture is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading design for complex projects.
• LEED Green Associate or BD+C credential is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate course of action and make independent decisions on significant matters within scope.
• Develop architectural program statements and building programs for capital projects.
• Evaluate proposals from consultants and participate in selection for capital projects.
• Prepare and execute contracts with consultants for planning and documentation.
• Direct activities of architects, engineers, interior designers and others for capital projects.
• Conduct project meetings, track and analyze progress.
• Maintain high quality standards in architecture and manage the design process.
• Advise clients and administrators on facility planning, design and construction criteria.
• Prepare graphics and narrative reports and present findings.
• Review campus plans to ensure regulatory compliance with University goals.
