Job summary

North Wind Resource Consulting in Tempe, AZ seeks a Sr. Cultural Resource Project Manager to lead complex archaeology projects, primarily in Arizona and surrounding states. This senior role oversees budgets, staffing, invoicing, and client updates to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include supervising field surveys, organizing mobilization, QA/QC of data and reports to agency and SHPO/THPO standards, and mentoring junior staff while coordinating with Program Managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience with Class III archaeological surveys, monitoring, and testing projects in the Southwest.
• Master's degree in Archaeology or closely related field; artifact identification and field documentation experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, staffing, invoicing, etc. for projects and provide updates to supervisory staff and fellow Project Managers.
• Attend PM meetings and biweekly business development meetings.
• Demonstrate experience and success with budget and proposal composition.
• Manage multiple projects, track budgets accurately.
• Organize fieldwork mobilization/demobilization.
• Provide QA/QC for data collection and client deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Produce high quality reports to agency and SHPO/THPO standards.
• Mentor junior personnel and support cross-team communication.
