Job summary

North Wind Resource Consulting is seeking a Cultural Resources Project Manager I in Tempe, AZ, to oversee projects and perform in-field analysis and scientific studies across Arizona and the Southwest. The role requires site recording knowledge and adherence to agency specifications to document historic and prehistoric sites.

The position involves budget management, supervision of staff, and coordinating field mobilization, QA/QC, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with Class III archaeological surveys, monitoring, and testing projects in the Southwest.
• Experience with artifact identification/classification, in-field documentation procedures, site recording processes, and agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, staffing, invoicing, and provide updates to supervision and other Project Managers.
• Attend PM meetings and biweekly business development meetings.
• Produce high-quality reports and deliverables to agency and SHPO/THPO standards.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the archaeology and history of Arizona and/or adjacent states.
