Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced Senior Archaeologist for the West region with a focus on the Great Basin. The role can be fully or partially remote, inviting applicants from Nevada, Utah, or California.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in cultural resources management.
• Experience with NEPA and Section 106 regulatory requirements.
• Experience obtaining concurrence NHPA Section 106 findings and archaeology lead for full cycle of Section 106 review.

Responsibilities

• Work on environmental compliance and cultural resource management projects, including client contact, task order management, budget control, invoicing, schedule, personnel allocation/planning, and subcontractor involvement.
• Lead or participate in investigations to identify and evaluate resources for National Register of Historic Places, assess project effects, develop resource management recommendations, and address complex management challenges.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to solve problems alongside natural resources scientists, planners, regulators, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Support clients to achieve long-term objectives from programmatic strategies to implementation and maintenance.
