ICF is seeking a full-time Project Archaeologist to support cultural resources projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. The role involves fieldwork, background research, artifact analysis, and NEPA/Section 106 compliance, with opportunities to mentor junior staff.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams, supervise surveys, write technical reports, and evaluate resources for the National Register. Remote work options available for qualified candidates, with Georgia-based and regional

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology/Archaeology or closely related field.
• 3+ years of professional, related experience.
• Meets Secretary of the Interior’s Qualification Standards for Archaeology
• Must have valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsabilités

• Direct archaeological surveys, testing, and data recovery fieldwork.
• Provide analysis for regulatory environmental reviews under NEPA, NHPA, and state requirements.
• Contribute to technical archaeology reports and documentation.
• Lead or assist with Section 106 consultation.
• Collaborate with historians and engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
