Eocene Environmental Group is seeking an Archaeologist III to plan and support cultural resources projects throughout the Great Basin region, primarily from a remote office with some fieldwork.

The role involves fieldwork coordination, data management, deliverable preparation, and coordination with state/federal agencies, potentially serving as Field Director or PI. A Master's in archaeology/anthropology is required along with 4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field.
• Completion of a field school.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a Field Director role.
• Permitted for agency permitting statewide in Utah.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support cultural resources projects in the Great Basin region.
• Coordinate fieldwork and manage field data.
• Prepare deliverables and revisions, coordinate with agencies.
• Conduct Class III inventories and document sites.
• Conduct monitoring, testing, and excavation activities.
