Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced mid-career Senior Archaeologist for our West region with a focus on the Great Basin. The role supports NEPA/NHPA compliance and fieldwork, delivering high-quality archaeology studies and regulatory solutions.

It offers a flexible, partially remote arrangement and involves working across archaeology, built environment, tribal resources, and landscapes. You will lead regulatory analysis, client contact, budgeting, scheduling, and staffing while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in cultural resources management.
• Experience with NEPA and Section 106 regulatory requirements.
• Experience obtaining NHPA Section 106 concurrence and archaeology lead for the full cycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform historical research, fieldwork and report writing for archaeology studies.
• Develop and implement regulatory compliance solutions for NEPA/NHPA.
• Lead or participate in investigations identifying resources for National Register of Historic Places.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve environmental resource challenges.
