Job summary

SpectrumCareers seeks an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the government contract billing function, overseeing a three-person AR team and ensuring accurate, timely invoicing and collections.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will manage full-cycle invoicing for CPFF, FFP, and T&M contracts, establish billing standards, reconcile billings and payments, and support month-end close, with project setup in Deltek Costpoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of government contract billing and collections experience.
• Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, WAWF/iRAPT, IPP, and VIPERS.
• Solid understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and FAR cost principles.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong written and verbal communication.
• US citizenship required; must pass a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle invoicing for CPFF, FFP, and T&M contracts, including electronic submissions through customer billing systems.
• Establish and maintain billing standards, procedures, and templates for the AR team.
• Reconcile billings and payments, monitor receivable balances, and drive collections.
• Report on unbilled receivables and invoicing status to management.
• Support month-end close and reconcile AR-related general ledger accounts.
• Partner with Contracts on final invoices and closeout.
• Oversee project setup in Deltek Costpoint
