Job summary

Deloitte’s Government Public Sector Billing team is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support federal government clients through accurate invoicing and timely collections. You will work with Contracts and Finance to ensure compliant billing and maintain clean receivable records.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field.
• 1+ years of relevant federal government client/contracting experience in an accounting process.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices for federal government clients across cost reimbursable, time and materials, and firm fixed price contracts.
• Compile invoice backup to meet client specs and Deloitte records.
• Prepare billing reconciliations, aging unbilled analyses, and manage aging receivables collections.
• Resolve invoicing issues due to billing requirements, project adjustments, or system issues.
• Collaborate with Finance and Contracts professionals to provide financial support.
